My son is in Iraq. I send him CDs of his kids. He can see the jpegs, but can't view the videos because there is no supporting viewers on his computer. He can't get administrative priviliges to download any players. Is there a way I can post them on my website, or is there anyway at all that he can view these without downloading a viewer of some type??

Mpeg1 is still the king of compatability.

Blue-Ray
Disk size does matter.

It is if you want him to watch a video without having to install ANY software at all. Windows plays Mpg1 out of the box. "Compatability"

Also you could get windows media encoder 7.1 and make asf files.
