I am having problems with the playback of certain files. AVI and other video files work fine, but when i play certain video files i hear a static in the background whenever there is any kind of noise on the video(whenever somebody speaks, an explosion, ANYTHING). I have tried reinstalling all divx codecs, and upgraded Windows Media Player, but it still happens. I reinstalled my sound card drivers, also. MP3's, AVI's, and any other media file for that matter work fine. I recently installed a new grahpics card (nVidia Geforce4 MX420), and although i can't remember if the problems began immediatley, i know they started happening around that time. (I have also reinstalled my graphics card drivers) If anybody can help me with the issue, it would be much appreciated! Thanks. (ps, i believe the only type of video file that causes this noise is MPEG, although i may be wrong.) |
