Hi gang, recently I've been having a problem with the way my video looks. It seems that I get these "shadows" or something from text or from anything dark that appears on my screen. They go all the way across my screen on anything that I do. It's kind of hard to explain but , I've even changed monitors to see if that was the problem and the same thing happens. Can anyone tell me if it might be my video card? This problem just started yesterday so I really don't know what else it could be. If anyone could shed some light it would really be appreciated.
Thanks.

try doing dxdiag in start, run
and check in device manager for conflicts.
and you can try drivers up date. and or remove moniter from device manager and renew old drivers.
have a nice day

Thanks, But Ive tried those things, and still no love.I don't know "that" much about these silly things, but I'm really thinking it's my video card. What else could it be?

Does the text look like its flaring around the edges if so, its a monitor problems, and some realigning will need to be looked at. The best way to check if its the monitor, is to use another monitor, if you get the same thing happening then it could be the video card, if it does not happen then its the monitor itself and not the video card.
