I had a problem where I couldnt even load windows because Messanger was causing eveything to freeze 9it started out with just the internet) but I fixed it with a reinstall -HOWEVER, now im noticing that my Direct 3D games are crashing, even though my card still passes the Direct X tests -so im going to try and reinstall the video drivers (for a radeon 9600 pro), but the problem originated with messenger (I also notice that some video's can't be enlarged properly too --they stay the same size even though I increase the window size). Please tell me if anyone knows what the hell im talking about, and thanks.

Now its starting to enter, but hang on some games then just freeze -and it's behaving like a power supply problem (Could messenger somehow cause a power supply problem?)

Now it's also freezing when I click some webpages links for no good reason.

Ok..NOW, it doesnt freeze in games....although it REALLY was behaving like a power supply problem.

-I just really need to know what in messenger(7.0) could have caused this? a power surge?
(It seems it should be the other way around)

thanks for any intrest at all.

chris.
