Have you gotten the drivers from nVidia?
If so, boot in safe mode and remove the card in device manager and reboot; install new drivers.

You have to ensure prior to installing the correct drivers the graphics card is recognised as a Standard Graphics Adaptor ie absolutely no drivers installed except the default get you started O/S M$ drivers.
