Sorry to break the news to you but you have the worse modem in the world. please see http://www.808hi.com/badchips
they make bad drivers for windows, mabye they will have drivers for windows me in 2045

I have an HSP Micro Modem on Windows ME. I am having a few problems with it. 1) Sometimes it just disconnects from the internet for no reason. I have the option to disconnect after downloading email DISabled. 2) Frequently when I first log on, I receive an error message and it has to redial. In the log at that point, it says "WARNING: UNRECOGNIZED RESPONSE...RETRYING." Anyone know what that means? 3) I still have the dial up noise even though I've turned that to off.
If anyone can help with any of these 3 items, please let me know. Thank you.

I guess you get what you pay for. I'm looking to. My free Actiontech modem after $20.00 rebate is working well on ME. Maybe I better go buy another free Actiontech instead of risking corruption of a fresh ME load on the kids machine.

I had Windows 98, and my modem worked quite well. I installed Windows Me, and it make the connection, but it doesn't work at all. It is not transfering! Please, I need the driver to install it under Windows Me. Thank u.
