i just bought a usb to parrallel cable for my printer i pluged it in and it recocnizes it but it cannot find the drivers i didnt get a disk i figured its plug and play anyway i cannot get through to my printer and in device manager it has the yellow ! which then it tells me drivers not installed i cannot find any drivers

You should be able to get drivers at the printer manufacturer's support/download website for ME using your printer model number. Can you recall if the printer needed the drivers installed before the printer is connected or after? Some printers/scanner require the drivers first then the hardware connected to work. Not many do it this way, but it is a possibility.

hello you can install the driver from the device manager. but like above post you will need to goto makers siht and gey m.e compatable driver. and have you gone to start,settings printers and used wizzerd to install your printer?
