Is there any way I can connect a USB device to a COM(9) Port or LPT port. Mayby with a adapter or something? Dose such thing exist? Thanks in Advance.
Yes, of course there is an adapter it is called USB-Serial Converter. This adapter has a 9-pin RS-232 that you can use on Windows 95/98/me/2000 even XP. There is an important note I need to tell you. This adapters are not recognized in MS-DOS their application just resumes to the Windows platafform. If you need a COM port to be recognized on MS-DOS you will need to buy a Serial PCI Adapter, in the case of laptop computers i don't have any solution u may need to search for another type of adapter.
