Hi I just buy a Maxtor 3000LE (hard drive Usb) and i cant see it in dos mode when i boot from floppy or cd in a non windows environment. Are they exist any driver for it in dos? I really need it for a dos mode.
Maxtor does not provide DOS mode drivers for USB products, only Windows drivers. You will note that none came with the device when you bought it. Almost no one supports USB devices in DOS. Too much code to run in DOS real mode to access USB hardware, which can vary from vender to vender, and then the special code for the device.
