Hello!
I installed a USB 2.0 card in the computer. I followed the instructions in the little manual, specified the location of the driver (advanced) like it was said, clicked next, inserted the CD-ROM and then again, specified a location. I browsed to the CD-ROM (what I thought), clicked next and thought I installed it. But when I took a look in the device manager it had a yellow exclamation mark besides the NEC PCI to USB Enchanced Host Controller. Taking a look at the properties of it says that the drivers for the device is not installed, not installed correctly or don't work. Delete the device and refresh it don't work as I get the same again. Taking a look at the info of the drivefiles, it has three. One with something \ousbehci.sys, one other with \ousbhub2hub and one last with (ntkernvxd) which I believe must be there. Because on the other computer I have I've already installed USB 2.0 without any problem. That one also have a file called \USBPORT.SYS. It's missing on the other one? The latest USB I've tried to install is from digitus and the provider is Orangeware corporiton. The other one is VIA, but this does mean anything. Isn't the latest card compatible? Can I delete the driverfiles except for ntkern.vxd or can I delete some of the new USB devices that came up in the device manager? Before I installed the USB 2.0 there was a green exclamination mark beside a USB device. I know this isn't a problem, but I'm not sure why it appeard. It was after the USB 2.0 installation in the other computer.
Thank you for your help.
