Usage 200MB( a month)

Hi,
I use dial up connection and my ISP I only use upto 200MB a month.Anyone could please explain what does this 200MB means? I only use for brwosing and sending emails. Can you tell for how many hours will the 200mb keep me connected to the internet.Thanks for your help.

shafi khan, 200MB refers to volume rather than time. 200MB can get used in one long session or can be spread out over many sessions. Perhaps an unlimited account would be better? A time limit will be expressed in hours online rather than megabytes. HTH. Ed in Texas.

I would gather , it would be your bandwidth usage, such as uploads and downloads. My ISP here in Canada allows me 2gigs of usage , Some are unlimited. Every time you get a email with a attachment or everytime you download a program off the internet.

In fact, everytime you load a new web page you are downloading data to your computer - sometimes a little, sometimes a lot, depending on the page.
