I am getting the error message "Explorer has caused an error in URLMON.DLL. Explorer will now close." When I close this window, Explorer does indeed close, but also half the icons in the system tray disappear, and I have to re-boot.

I have tried various versions of proposed cures, such as , or or followed by the first of these. In each case the correct response was received, but it did not fix the problem.

It may be relevant that the urlmon problem seems only to have started after I installed COA2, a PC Magazine program for "Change of Address" when moving files/folders from one drive to another. Perhaps one solution is to de-install COA2 and see whether the urlmon problem disappears?

Note that I am using Windows ME and Windows Explorer 6.

Note also that the file urlmon.dll does not appear to have been changed by any of this, as it is still showing "Last Modification" as some four months ago.
