I want to upgrade my cpu from a 667mhz celeron to a 800mhz celeron but I heard that it would only give a 2-3% boost in performance. Is that true? If not how much of an increase could i expect to get? 19.94%?
my computer is an HP 6736 kr

A) Whatever boost you get will not be worth paying $5

B)Are you sure your motherboard can handle that processor? HP's are not known for being upgradeable.

C) What are you tryhing to accomplish?

If games are the issue, an 800 Mhz. Celeron is not the answer.
