Does anyone think its a good idea to upgrade from ME to XP? If so how easy is it to do, and will it erase any of my files or anything? Could some one give me the low down on this?

Do a Dual Boot instead of "upgrading". That way you don't loose anything.

Hi CEM, I suggest that you didn't. I used it twice first time my comp crashed. Second time I used it but it used to much memory to work so games etc ran slow.

Cheers
Dave

Beware there may be some major compatibility issues, especially with hardware drivers. You may spend a lot of time on the net searching for XP compatible drivers. I have just given up on XP and gone back to 98 because of problems I was just unable to resolve. If you do decide to upgrade, make sure you use Ghost or Drive Image to make a complete backup of your hard drive before you start!
You shouldn't lose files in the upgrade, by the way.
