Upgrade AOL 9.0 kernel32 error

Everytime I try to upgrade to AOL 9.0 I get kernel32 errors and cannot proceed...however...for some odd reason I can upgrade to AOL Latino 9.0 from the same CD. Do I just need to brush up on my Spanish?

try copying the contents of the cd to the hardrive, then execute the program
