Pop up stoppers are great but ideally you want to get rid of the cause of tons of popups.... Do a little clean up if you didn't already..your temporary internet files. Download spybot search and destroy and ad-aware, update them and let them remove whatever they find. You likely have a lot of spyware on your machine watching where you surf and generating tons of popups, and hogging your resorces. You will likely notice your computer is faster after doing that. Just be sure to update them because spybot has important patch to prevent the program from hanging.
