For some odd reason, both my programs and web pages have chosen a default font that is almost unreadable. It is not all programs, or all websites, and it usually is not all the font on a web page, just selected text. It had been a really unreadable font before, so I deleted that from my font folder, but now it has just automatically chosen what seems like the next font in line, and it is almost as unreadable. I have gone to internet options to change the font of web pages that do not have a specified text font, but that does not seem to work.....my main concern though is the programs as they are basically rendered useless if I cannot read the instructions or find out which tools do what.
Please help before I freak out

Don't know if this will work Joey but give it a go
Right click on desktop and choose properties than click on the appearance tab. You should be able to change the text thereHope this helps
Kim

Thanks Kim, but no luck, that seems to be just for window fonts as they all check out there when I click on them (all MS Sans Serif (Western)).

hello
have a look in device manager any problems showing?
you might try removeing vidio from device manager and reboot.
if that dont solve it reboot to safe mode and remove any ghost devices from device manager and reboot.posted useing linux knopix

i think its the font size - certain programs dont like the font when it is set at over 96 dpi
display settings - setttings - properties/advanced - general
alter size to normal
i m at work & cant remember the path using ME so the one above is XP but im sure u ll find it
