Sometimes when I go into my email and exit, this white folder(I don't no if its even a folder) pops up in my shortcuts.I have no idea what it is.I can't open it with anything.I've scanned it with Norton anti-virus.So I deleted it.But its popped a few more times. This only happens when I exit my email.Does anyone no what this is?Thanks.A friend said somethig about a tag file(whatever that is),but he wasn't quite sure either.

I deleted it again already but it will come back.I did check properties .All it said was the size which was a very small file, and attributes-normal.

If it is named '~' then it is created by outlook express and is safe to delete. If you do a google search for 'tilde on desktop' it will give you an insight into what it is and why. HTH Dog
