My anit-virus program (Avast! by Alwil Software) found a file named ant-10119.exe on my last scan. The file could not be quarantined or deleted, and I have no idea what it is or if it is dangerous. Can anyone help identify this file?

The file name doesn't help much as viruses often make random names. However, it should have said "XXX detected in ant-10119.exe" or something to that effect where "xxx" is the actual name of the virus.

www.trendmicro.com and use the online virus scanner. Free and works.
You can avoid many of these Windows problems with Linux. Linspire eases the transition for new users

Always remember with WinMe that a virus even after you dlte it off your system will remain in one f your restore points ,the restore foder is protected folder you cant nor sould delete ,what you need to do is disable the system restore utility ,thus purging all of your restore points ,then reenable it a create a restore point after you have done a virus scan and your pc is clean !
