Comment: i would like to know how to uninstall windows ME and then i need to know how to install windows 98...i have no clue how to do this..i know you just cant take windows off...

Reply: (edit)...the most FAQ after installing Win ME... Find, get or make yourself a nice Win98(SE) boot disk which includes FDISK.COM, SYS.COM, FORMAT.COM and DELTREE.COM. Perhaps try bootdisk.com.

Reply: (edit)if u want the stuff on your hard drive then this isn't gonna be any help, go into dos and type format c: then it will ask if u r sure, press y, then it will format, get a boot disk and put it in the a: drive and reset the computer, when it boots up it will go back into dos, select cdrom surport and go to the E: and type setup, your D: becomes E: cos your boot disk will make it. hope this helps, if your a blond, get profesional help
