Comment:

When I go to open my control Panel, I get the following message: " Unable To Load Language Resources". In the message box header it shows 'MMCPL'. Does anyone know what this is and how I can correct the problem?. The Control Panel will eventually open, but not without giving the message.
Any help appreciated.
Bruce

I had the same problem and just figured it out. It's your ATI card. Try re-installing the software. It's not the
VGA card driver, it's those stupid programs that come on the CD.

If you don't use the extra software that came on the CD, like the TV viewer, you could just delete MMCpl.cpl or rename to mmcpl.old from
your windows\system directory. That is the file that is causing the error.

Hope this helps!

Good tip! It worked for me.

On NT 4, the task has to be terminated before the file "MMCpl.cpl can be renamed or deleted.

Thanks,
