I am going crazy trying to delete a virus
in my computer called W95.Hybris.worm.
Apparently Windows-ME uses this file as
I am unable to delete it using NORTON or Windows or DOS. Is it possible to bring
up DOS without using Windows? Any help or
suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks
Jack

If the virus is still running it won't allow you to delete it. It will tell you that the file cannot be deleted because it is being used by windows. I would think going into dos and deleting it would work, because you wont be loading windows. Reboot in Dos mode and try to delete it from there.
