Whenever I save a picture from an email I receive to my harddrive, the time is 8 hours different from my clock, but when I save a new file I create then it shows the actual clock time. How can I make it so I only have one actual time on my PC?

Are you refering to the time indicated on the files properties, or your system clock changes by 8 hours?

Yes Lupin3rd, I should have mentioned that I was refering to the time stamp; e.g.if I do a "save as", the new file on my harddrive shows a creation time of 10:30 am, while the actual time is about 6:30 pm. And if I create a new file at that same time, it shows a creation time of 6:30 pm. Strange, isn't it?

LOL. Is the date the same? What about for other files like video or excutabiles?

Any type of file which I receive as an attachement in Outlook and which I save has the correct date but shows the time to be 8 hours earlier. E.g. I just saved a .doc file from an email (it is 7 pm now) and it shows up in Windows Explorer as Feb.7, 11 am).
