My roommates new Dell 8100 has a Nvidia card with tv out, adn we are trying to connect it to the tv. We got a s-video cable and connected it from the card to teh tv but in control panel display settings it doesnt offer the "tv" option as a display. Any and all help here would be beneficial. Thanks

Well it LOOKS like a few things have to go on here. You will need a special driver(I THINK)If you want it to go full screen. You may want to read this article for some tips

I also read this "quickie" set up guide:

You need to connect your VGA with either S or AV video cable to your TV. After finish hardware setting,

please install NVIDIA VGA driver correctly by following the software installation procedure. Set the

display resolution to 800x600 or 640x480 then shut down the system. Power on your TV first and then

boot up your Windows system. You will get your TV-out display.

I hope this helps
