I tried to install a D-Link 530TX+ NIC in a PC
running WinME, and when hardware wizard detects it
and loads the drivers initially, I get a "!" when I check
for the driver in device manager, along with a (code
2) error saying the drivers could not fully install. If I selectively choose the driver folder, it seems I can
get rid of the "!" and get a "properly working"
indication, BUT the card still never shows up when I
run WINIPCFG.So far, I have only been able to get the cable to work
with the USB connection, but I want to run 2
computers off a network/router.I was initially using AOL. Could AOL settings under
networks be screwing things up? Should I try
removing AOL?
