I cannot 'see' my desktop. I boot into safemode and the screen is black with the safemode icons in the corners and windows version at the top. I used the start with prompt and deleted the C:\wp.bmp, hoping this would allow me to 'see' my desktop then download the necessary removal utility. Also, I have; C:\program files\security iguard. I can't \del this. but I did \del evertthing out of it. Any suggestions? Is there anything I can do with the command promp? The only alternative so far, is a reformat.
