With AVG, you have to disable systems restore, then reboot. Re-scan the system and you will notice it is gone. It will remove the file(s) that are infected. Then you can turn the restore back on after that.

spiral2061:Stumpys had part of the way to do this.The best instructions are in the AVG forum I would advise you to go there for a detailed way to remove the trojan.I had a simular trojan & followed the instructions I got from the AVG forum.Basically you disable system restore;download CWShredder & Stinger;
Go to safe mode;run these2,AVG,a spyware remover(like Lavasoft ad aware)& AVG again to make sure the trojan is gone.All of this in safe mode.Then if you have the time run a thorough scandisk in safe mode& defrag too.This is a lot to do but I think you will be rid of the trojan & this will probably fix your defrag & scandisk.If they still don't work try scandisk in standard mode with automatically fix errors unchecked & fix the errors as the come up this should be done in normal windows mode.
