rozelled, since the Trojan is located in RESTORE, that function needs to be TEMPORARILY turned off and then the cleansing scan performed. So long as it is active, it will protect files and prevent changes. Turn off, scan, turn on. That oughta do the job for you. HTH.

The cleaner v4.0 can help you remove Trojans but you must remove file protection in the Restore folder like Ed recommends.
Go to Control Panel/System/Performance Tab/File System/Troubleshooting Tab/Disable System Restore.Reboot.Don't forget to put the restore protection back to enabled.Good luck.

(Go to Control Panel/System/Performance Tab/File System/Troubleshooting Tab/Disable System Restore.Reboot..in XP i cldnt find the performance tab)

Should be control panel/system/system restore ...then just check the box to disable system restore.
