Can anyone help me, i have found this trojan with the use of AVG antivirus but it wont clean or delete the files the virus has infected. I dont recognise the files and when i search my folders the explorer causes a fault in something or another, so it has rendered my computer useless and any of my programs close down when i begin using them. Is there anyway i can get rid of the files. The infected files are in C:\_RESTORE\TEMP\A000...(and more numbers) files. Can anyone help me please?

If you disable System Restore, the files should be deleted. Then you can reenable it.
Or you could use a StartUp disk (pick #4, mimimal boot) and at c:\ type deltree c:\_Restore\Temp\

When you've disabled System Restore, re-start in safe mode and run AVG again, just to check. Try visiting the Symantec web-site for full info on removing Trojans

Visit http://www.anti-trojan.org, anti-trojan.org has a page dedicated to disabling system restore. This is not a trojan as such it is spyware.

I typed that in my address bar and the link didn't take me to anything.
would I follow the same process. disable my system restore?

Yes that should delete all your "restore points". So it should delete rp247\a0026771.exe but you will have to start "from scratch" on the Restore Points.
