RUNDLL - ERROR loading C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\se.dll

Then avg pops up detecting a virus on the very same file C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\se.dll
Trojan hoarse Startpage.19.J

it heals it the first time but it imedeatly pops up again but when asked to heal the REQUESTED ACTION IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS OBJECT.

Berwyn Hughes, FWIW, be aware that a virus and a trojan are similar, but not the same. Many times, a virus scanner can detect one it can't clean. There’s an online trojan scanner @:
http://www.trojanscan.com/trojanscan
The scan will likely get rid of yor trojan, but if it fails, know a trojan can hide in restore and since it's an 'active' file, Windows won't always let it be altered. If that happens, disable restore and THEN scan.
Another thing you might wanna do is look at the options in Spybot. AFTER you've put your homepage where you like (set it in IE), activate immunize in Spybot and it'll block any attempt to alter the setting.
HTH.

Berwyn Hughes, I unfortunately hate to be the bearer of bad news but I'm trying to help NOT hinder. These "Startpage" trojans are a bitc_! I had ELEVEN of these Startpage trojans in my Grisoft AVG. At the time not knowing what to do, I uninstalled Grisoft AVG in hopes to get rid of the Trojan permantently. BUT I still have the effects from the Startpage trojans though I uninstalled/deleted by means Of Grisoft AVG. Not only that but I have FOUR more Startpage trojans on my pc presently, apparently from the remnants that were left over from the uninstall/delete from Grisoft AVG. This trojan seems to somehow keep reproducing itself under different file names in which I keep getting more Startpage trojans. The ONLY site I went to AFTER starting my computer this morning was THIS site and BEFORE I even got to this site I got another Startpage trojan on my pc. These Startpage trojans CAN effect "SpywareBlaster" and render it inoperable. It CAN also direct your browser to unwanted sites as well as hijack your browser. It CAN also slow your pc down and effect other things as well. A strong word of advice that I'll give you is.. do NOT make an attempt to search out a solution towards your problem by "Googles" etc. Many of the sites that are displayd in Googles or other "search" engines, will give you another trojan if you click on the wrong one. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU CLICK ON!! Stay off your computer AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE to prevent further trojans from replicating themselves. You would do yourself a BIG favor by going to a posting on this computing.net site and read all about it. As follows:
http://computing.net/windowsme/wwwboard/forum/45241.html
I would read ALL of the 30 some postings there BEFORE acting on any one potential solution and then perhaps re-read. You will clearly see that this trojan is a bitc_! Apparently this trojan starts itself in a DOS mode before a person even gets online, is what I gather from the postings on the above site. Personally, as soon as I'm done with this posting, I am going to wipe out my pc and do a fresh install of Windows ME in hopes this will clean out my pc from the trojans so I can start out on a clean slate so to speak. I only hope this will work. I will post back on this forum when I'm done and let people know how it turned out. Grisoft will be the last thing I uninstall before my fresh install of Windows ME. One final thing.. people have asked on the Grisoft AVG forum if they can delete items in the virus vault of Grisoft AVG and the moderator of that site said "yes". The moderator said the purpose of storing the trojans/viruses in the Grisoft AVG vault is to have the ability to restore a persons "programs" should they become corrupted, caused by some virus/trojan, they'll at least have access to files etc. I hope this information will be of help to you and hope you are able to solve your problem. Good luck.

The common link between everyone and this trojan is AVG.
I uninstalled AVG and bingo...no more startpage trojan
Try it.
I believe the virus is in the .exe file of AVG setup
