Every time I boot up I get a error that says this program has peformed an illegal operation.And if this problem presists the program will shut down. Iam running a e-machine with windows 98,Intel II at 500MgHz PLEASE HELP ME!!! It won't let me shut down.

Using msn isp software? I searched computing.net and found a bunch of posts about tryclnt errors involving msn software. Have you tried system restore? Please include what programs you have running at startup. And when the problem began ie. after i installed this or after i deleted that.
Yes I am using MSN software.Now when I try to log off,after the message has flashed up 3 or 4 times the sign in for MSN keeps flashing up and will not go away!!! I have just installed the new version of THE WEATHER BUG,and the new MSN MESSENGER SERVICE,and 8.1 MEDIA PLAYER.Before this started I deleted the WEB T.V. FILE,and ACCESS 2000 FILE.I went to system tools and could not find resore system.My system is windows 98 second addition 4.1.When I start up I think the only program running is the WEATHER BUG.PLEASE WRITE ME BACK THIS IS DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!
