Buying a new comp. and I have option of Me or '98 SE. My biggest concern is, will my Paint Shop Pro 7 and Adobe Go-Live 5 work on Me? Or will I have all this dll.blah blah etc. stuff to deal with? (buying a P-III, 1ghz, 300+ram, 40g hd.) Thanks for any advice!

Both those programs will work with ME.
Nobody can guarantee you wont have any problems.
I'm running a P3 733 and have had minimal problems so far.

ya go for Me it works too fine on 350 Mhz and above cpu's and having such big Amount of RAM would Certainly help. If something annoyes is High RAM usage and Gaming Problem with Simple Video Cards. But you can solve this using Latest Drivers from Intel if your Video Chipset is from them.

I'd say go with ME. I am running a PIII 733mhz, 256mb ram and have had no problems at all. In fact my PCI modem which gave me no end of grief in Win98 is running like a top under ME. I have even installed it on my daughter's AMD 233mhz, 64mb ram and it runs well with no problems. I love it!

Summary: I really feel sorry for you. If your PC is two years old, then I am sure that there is no chance of getting a replacement recovery disks. You can try but I don't think you will get one. I would sugges...
