Hi all, is there any way i can connect to a programe that for some unknown reason will not let me connect,i have been told there is, but i have no info on how to do it....

A few more details would'nt go amiss...... What program are you talking about? Do you get any error messages when you try to "connect", if so, what are they?

hi dave,thanks for replying, the program is dwyco Cdc32 video chat,i dont get any error messages as such,i downloaded and set up the program, no problem there,but when i try to connect were it should say "connected" it says "offline no authorization" it is a free program.

Never heard of the application. My uneducated guess would be that your behind a firewall, router or something thats blocking it. Do you dial up or do you have broadband? If your sharing a broadband connection how is it shared? Hub router what?
Where did you get this free application? DO they have a troubleshooting page? Support? Anything? If not you might consider yahoo or MSN's video chat software.

Summary: tony soprano, This may sound silly but,here it goes. Unplug the mouse while computer is running count to ten plug back in while it is still running see if it works after this.(Just a thought) ...
