Hi folks.

I have recently formatted both C and D drives, and instaled Win ME on C: and Win2K on D:. Now, Win 2K can see c:, but win ME can't see d:!!

I have formatted the D drive (win2K) as NTFS, whereas C: (Win ME) is FAT32. Is this the cause?

Bless you all.

Roger

Wow, that was fast. Thanks for the confirmation smith. Here's another... if ME can't see NTFS, is it possible to format the D drive from within ME?

You would have to use fdisk to remove the that partition and then recreate it with FAT32 and then format it. Of course you would lose all information on that partition. Windows ME should be able to see the drive once you recreate the partiton.

what is this c & d drives you are talking about, 2 hd partitions? i don't understand how windows let you partition windows me to ntfs, its not recognized in windows me. now you will have to reformat hd, but first you have to use fdisk to delete all non dos partitions, but of course you will lose everything and you will have to create fat32 partition or partitions , whichever. then reinstall everything again, good luck.
