Subject: System,Classes and User. DAT.. HELP
Comment:

Can someone help me?
Why is it that I have found details of programs that I have downloaded in the System, Classes and User DAT? An example is Trojan Remover and ICQ. I DO NOT have either of these programs on the computer. Have deleted all traces of them, including stuff in REGEDIT. I have WindowsWasher which I use every day and YET, these old programs are still on!!. HOW COME? How do I delete these files, or at least the content? It seems that these files save all my internet movements!!!!!!!

They all had Editor Icons beside them!

SYSTEM C:/Windows 1'869KB DAT.Datei
CLASSES C:/Windows 3'981KB DAT.Datei
USER C:/Windows 917KB DAT.Datei

BTW, I couldnt read everything on it, most of it didnt make sense, but alot of it did!!!!

I use Windows ME

Thank you for your help a

Owl

That's why you need a registry cleaner or two. Look here:

The "5 day default registry back ups" are in c:\windows\sysbackup and are called RB000 - 004.
