Whenever I try to use System Restore, it's always unsuccessful. It always reboots before it's 100% completed. There are restore points and it is enabled. Hope you can help. Thanks.

I experienced a similar problem. On a hunch I removed all running background programs using EndItAll. That made it work for the very first time. Have you tried that?

Grabbing at straws I'd do a Search for smgr.dll and Rt Clk on several hits you'll see/Properties/Ver and confirm your Version is 4.90.0.3003. I say check several variations on the Search as once one or more were correct ver. but another was not. Had to Re-DownLoad Patch 290700 (deals with a Checkpoint Not Being Able to Restore error msg but I used it once when No ChkPoints were being made and it worked.) Running scanreg /fix has been suggested to me in past problems, too. This all presumes your system isn't corrupted by a trojan, etc. and you've run all "Updated" protection checks.Good luck!
