When I open system information -> tools -> system configuration utility I get the following error message "Unable to synchronize the environment variables in the windows registry with the environment variables in the legacy files AUTOEXEC.BAT and/or CONFIG.SYS "

Whenever I open MSCONFIG , I also get a box that appears B/4 MSCONFIG . Although similar to what you are getting , I copied the contents of the box Iam getting exactly as shown "Environment variables were found in the legacy files AUTOEXEC.BAT and/or CONFIG.SYS and the variables were moved to Windows Registry". Then I have to click on OK in order for the MSCONFIG to open ? I have been getting this for as long as I can remember . I once inquired about it and was told that they felt it was normal for this to appear only one time , however not everytime I attempt to open MSCONFIG . I dont have any fix or even a clue what it means . Hopefully someone else on this board will have an answer. Thanks ,Nick
