System Configuration Utility

On startup, I am always left with a message in a box titled "System Configuration Utility" - "You are using the Selective Startup for troubleshooting you system" Can anyone advise me what it is, and how I can stop it running. Many thanks

Put a check mark in the dont show this again box and click the OK.

I keep running into the case were putting a check in the box and clicking OK does not work and the box comes back the next time I boot. In that case, I have to use REGEDIT and remove the "unchecked" entry in the -RUN list, where unchecked items are move to.
