is it worth it?

The main reason I want to is because it has the switch user option and you can have different user accounts.

Is there any program I could download or buy to do that to my Windows ME? If so... let me know!

Off the subject but, curious. Did you fix/solve your other problem.

Also, have you checked your messages. To do this, click the

I think you can have different user accounts with WinME. I have never set mine up that way, but I think through the Users applet in the control panel you can set these up.

I dislike XP, it is on my daughter's computer and it seems sluggish to me. Her computer is much newer and has a 2.2Ghz processor (Celeron), mine has a 1.1Ghz AMD Athlon. Hers has 256MB DDR (double data rate) RAM and mine has 512MB SDRAM.

I just don't like XP at all. It doesn't crash or anything, but just seems sluggish to me (and cartoon-like).

I am sticking with ME until I can learn Linux, which I plan to do asap, but that just isn't possible at the moment.

My WinME system hasn't had a freeze up or crash in so long I don't remember the last time. Except when I installed Java Runtime Environment 1.4.2_2, which caused my pc to freeze on shutdown if I had opened the Java Control Panel (javaw.exe remained in memory). Went back to 1.4.1_05 and everything's peachy again. ;)

So Marshe,

You are saying Win95, Win98, Win98SE, Win2000, WinNT, and some others ;-) Is the worst products MS ever made. Boy, that's a bold statement. But, that's your feelings (opinion)

And destiny, reading your messages now wont help. Hope you got everything going.

Good Luck
