Comment:

Dear Sir/Madam,
I'm using Windows ME and for last week or so I'm having a problem with the same.
When I's installing Norton 2002 anti Virus, the system had got some error, I cannot understand that problem and tried to
reinstall the Windows ME. But everytime when the File coping was in progress and when it was completed upto 60%, I's getting the
message " suwin has caused error in VERX.DLL and it will now close."
I's trying the re-installation for 4 to 5 times and the same message was generated every time at 60%.
I want to solve this problem immediately. Hope you can help me.
Waiting for positive reply.
Bye and take care.

Mad(hav).

ME TOO! There a many people reporting the same problem all around the world. Most have given up and reformated to do a clean install. --SO WHY did we purchase an update!-- MickySoft Support just wears every one down, until they all go away. I have had a problem open with them for over two weeks. They are very anxious to close it, but have no fix! They poit every direction but don't examine the error data they are given. In my case, the all of the details of the error were captured and passed along, Windows 98 was restored 8 or 10 times and re-attempted the update to ME. DRWATSON was involked (MickySoft Support did not mention nor request it) They seemed unable to interpret it. Even though there is much on the web regarding the problem, there is little on their site. It is as if THEY NEVER HEARD OF THE PROBLEM. If someone out thee has access to the source code, I will provide you with traces of the error. Sales of ME updates generated huges sums of cash for Billy, but has left many people with systems, which were unusable. Most victums eventually surrender their all of their installed applications and data files and just "FORMATED it all away" to regain the use of their hardware. Such activity has sold a lot of new softeware to replace the applications that were lost. MICKYSOFT may even benifited from that in cases where products such as Quicken, Lotus, or WordPerfect, are lost and some or all of them are replaced by Micky's products. Still looking for a MICROSOFT FIX. I won't hold my breath!
