suRegCreatekey - can't reboot

Comment:

Have returned from holiday to be told by the house sitter that the computer has crashed.

Tells me it has located new hardware .... leads me to nowhere except SURegCreatekey error message.

Have been reading up on this problem here and have a Win Me Boot disk but can't get to DOS. Not even by holding down a function key.

Any other advice.

put m.e boot disk in floppy drive,and reboot.
chose with out cd rom suport. and at the a:

try the things in this link
m.e wont start
