Substitute Zip drive for floppy drive

Can I replace my floppy drive with a Zip drive,I notice the ribbon cable is a different size,or should I use the zip drive as drive B?

Jez, your Zip is prob. IDE The ZIP will show as a "Removable Drive" when it's connected. (will connect where hard drives, CD-Roms, CD-Rw, DVD ect. connect) System setup please.
