Depends on your mail server.
Many allow setting filters / discard rules.
If all the Russian spams have a .ru somewhere in the header, it should be a piece of cake.
If not, hopefully you can find a few recurring strings in the header.
And I would not use OE in any case.
It's not part of the solution.
It's part of the problem.
Get a real mail acct and a real mail client.
If you cannot filter on the POP, get MailWasher.

soniaj, see, ignorance is bliss! I use OE V6.0 and didn't realize there was something better! The block rule for .ru mail sounds like it oughta work, maybe you can set up that rule and automatically delete anything they send. I've found that if you simply bounce mail using Mailwasher, they'll soon take your address off their list ang quit sending you their offers.

When you say get a real mail account, do you mean as opposed to one of the free ones, like hotmail, gmail etc. Because I dont, I have a mail account with my ISP. I just use OE to bring then in, because it is easier than going to the site, and then signing in etc. I have not heard of mailwasher but will look into it. I will also look to see if the senders address all have .ru, and see if i can do anything with that.
