Hi,
How can I stop ME from playing it's little ditty at startup? I know how to do it in windows 98, but I can find a sounds entry in ME control panel.

You can delete or rename that audio file. I don't have my ME computer up right now but in 98 it's The Microsoft Sound.wav in the windows\media folder.

If you haven't already done so, change the Control Panel to "view all options" & you'll find your sound settings
