Comment:

At attempted startup, I got the blue screen with the message "VS32.msg missing or bad." Had to restart in Safe Mode. Followed Help screen info and isolated a VxD called VS32.VXD, which relates to recently uninstalled ESafe/VirusSafe firewall/anti-viral program. Can I safely delete this VxD? If I don't, do I have to keep starting up in Selective Mode? If I return to Normal startup, it re-enables the Static VxD, and the blue screen comes back.

You will have to remove ´leftovers´of the program from your harddrive and your registry.

There are 2 option:
1. reinstall the software and remove it again. This is the the most preferable option.

2. Do a search on your harddrive for files containing the word esafe. Delete them.
Go to start, run and type ´regedit´ Remove all entries for esafe.

Good luck.
