I posted a message yesterday, but the answers weren't really what I needed. So I will refrase the question...

When I startup my computer with windows me, I can not click on the task bar or in the desktop settings an so on. But I can do everything with the keyboard. I can get on the internet, I can do anything... But seeing that browsing a computer without a mouse isn't really that much fun, I tried to fix it.
The weired thing is, when I go to my desktop settings and uncheck the active desktop box, my mouse will work fine again. Untill I restart my computer, then I've got the same problem all over again.
An other weired thing is, the first time I startup my computer after having used MSConfig, everything will work fine to. But only the first time...

I First thought the problem may be with a program called New.net. And obviously everybody who answered to my previous message did so to, because all they gave me where instructions on how to uninstall that application. But I allready got rid of it before by reinstalling it and then running the uninstall program. That got rid of all the registry files as well.

I am sorry to have made this question so long, but I just wanted to give a good discription of the problem...

I hope somebody can help me...

Thanx,
Edwin

sounds like you need better mouse software
one that I use for different mice is from logitech.com
works well with most mice.
