startup in MS DOS mode

I know this is a stupid question but how do i start my machine in ms dos mode? On my other computer running Win 98, it is an option on the shutdown menu to restart in ms dos mode, but it's not there in Win ME

Is it ok to just use the icon in the Accessories menu? because I know Windows is still running in the background when I use that

hello to reach full dos in m.e you need to reboot with m.e boot disk in drive. you can make one in add/remove click on make bootdisk. or you can d/l one free at www.bootdisk.com

I use a program called PureDOS. It is an excellent way to get your computer to boot to DOS.Go to the following site for more info.
