hey i deleted an unimportant gator file the other day in an attempt to rid my computer of some of its spyware. Now that ive deleted that particular dll. i get a notification message everytime windows is starting up. it says the file can longer be found, which im aware of, yet it feels the need to tell me this everytime windows starts up. I was wondering if theres a way to eliminate notifications on startup. thanks.

Go to start>run>type "msconfig" (exactly and without the quotation marks) and click okay>startup tab, go through the list of startup programs and see if you find anything to do with Gator, uncheck, click apply and okay>reboot.
Download, install (reboot) and update Spybot Search and Destroy, run the check for problems.
Here is a great tutorial on SSD:

I recommend downloading SSD here:

Be sure to update the program before running the "check for problems".
