Attempting to use Delindex, when working from my boot disk I do not get the option #4 in DOS. All I see on the screen are 24 different files from the Floppy. Help needed. Thanks,

Put the floppy in the drive and restart the PC. While it boots up it will look in that drive a take commands from the floppy.
Select start PC without CD rom support.
This will bring you to the A:\ prompt and you are there......

michael2; No good, all that shows is a listing of what is on the disk. No options whatsoever. Thanks,

Make a new boot disk like this:

1. Open Add/Remove Programs properties in Control Panel.
2. Click the Startup Disk tab, and then click Create Disk.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Then do as michael2 said

Trev; That's how I made the first one, and also the second. Same results both times. It has to be something I am doing wrong, as simple a task as it is. Thanks,

Where is the DELINDEX.BAT file saved. On the A: floppy disk or the C: disk drive?

If on the C: disk drive, at the A: prompt enter:

C:

command to switch to the C: drive. Then:

DELINDEX
