Comment: I have been unable to create a start-up disk since I,ve had Windows Me. I keep getting a message saying that a number of files cannot be found at location c:/windows/system. I have inserted the OEM recovery cd, but the utility keeps reverting back to looking for the files in c:/windows/system. Any help would be appreciated.

Reply: (edit)have you tried, start>settings>control panal>add/remove, select the tab"startup disk", then take a formmated 1.44 mb floppy and stick it into the floppy drive, then press the create button, {it may ask you to insert your winme disk if you don't have it backed up on your system}. Ciao
